We were seasonal campers at Schnable Lake Campground for 14 years but sadly we had to sell our camper 8 years ago when we made a move to Arizona. We tried camping in Arizona and it was nothing like our camping experience at Schnable Lake. My children were raised there and we missed it dearly. I have recently returned to Michigan and can't wait to visit and catch up with some very missed friends. My children are grown but I'm hoping to return as a seasonal camper with my grandchildren.

1970's, what a great time for a kid in high school! We spent summers out here, and had great memories of the DeWolfs, Burgers, VandeVordes, McGregors and Beckwiths, among others! Life long memory....

Loving the look of the campground. My family and I are going to be making a trip out to check out the campground. We may not make it this season but next season is a strong possibility. You sure offer a lot of activities for the kids and the whole family.

We pulled into Otsego on Monday evening (April 16th) and are looking forward to getting set up at the lake as soon as we are finished with some repair work at General RV in Wayland. We've already been to our lot and put up bird feeders :) Our friends, and campground neighbors, already mowed and raked our lot and theirs before we arrived from Florida :) NICE FRIENDS, eh ? Dave had a couple heart incidents (in Jan & April) and now owns twenty heart stents ! He also had cataract surgery (both eyes) and is doing well now, tho he had infection in both eyes for a while :( It was a winter of medical treatments for him in Florida! I am recovered from my rotator cuff surgery from last September...so I'm ready for gardening at the lake !!!! Come on sun !! If anyone is interested in our travels since retirement in 2008...I've kept a BLOG where you can read all about it : www.daveandbev.com
