What great memories as a kid camping here at schnable lake. I even lived here for a summer when I got older. So much fun Lots of memories with family and friends.
1970's, what a great time for a kid in high school! We spent summers out here, and had great memories of the DeWolfs, Burgers, VandeVordes, McGregors and Beckwiths, among others! Life long memory....
Loving the look of the campground. My family and I are going to be making a trip out to check out the campground. We may not make it this season but next season is a strong possibility. You sure offer a lot of activities for the kids and the whole family.
We pulled into Otsego on Monday evening (April 16th) and are looking forward to getting set up at the lake as soon as we are finished with some repair work at General RV in Wayland. We've already been to our lot and put up bird feeders Our friends, and campground neighbors, already mowed and raked our lot and theirs before we arrived from Florida NICE FRIENDS, eh ? Dave had a couple heart incidents (in Jan & April) and now owns twenty heart stents ! He also had cataract surgery (both eyes) and is doing well now, tho he had infection in both eyes for a while It was a winter of medical treatments for him in Florida! I am recovered from my rotator cuff surgery from last September...so I'm ready for gardening at the lake !!!! Come on sun !! If anyone is interested in our travels since retirement in 2008...I've kept a BLOG where you can read all about it : www.daveandbev.com
John and I have been here together since 1992. John has been here since the first day that Schnable Lake opened. His parents loved camping and they would stay there all summer. John grew up out here and he still loves coming out and relaxing, we both do. Our children are grown now and they come out with our grand children. This is our vacation home, coming out to our trailer enjoying the lake, sunshine and friendly faces. We love Schnable Lake!! Thank you for the new owners whom care about the park and the people who stay there.
